ICF continues to create Boards of Directors with strong leadership competence. We look for Board members with a combination of experience and organizational capability. Candidates are selected on their demonstrated ability to chart the future of a high-growth, professional organization.
Successfully attracting and selecting Board members requires a diverse and highly capable Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee is responsible for determining candidates for the ICF Professional Coaches Board positions and guiding the development and succession of board leadership. The responsibilities of the Nominating Committee have become an integral part of the professional evolution, helping to establish the highest quality of leadership and secure the ongoing success of ICF globally.
We are seeking new members for the Nominating Committee who have specific experience related to choosing and developing leaders. Ideal candidates for the Committee will have experience and be knowledgeable in:
1. Recruitment, interviewing and selection of leaders in large, global organizations
2. The use of leadership competencies and how to measure success
3. Competency cultivation and development
4. Organizational effectiveness and performance evaluation
5. Committee work and collaborative decision making
